700 p stock question

I am selling a stock from a 700p S/A. I have had a few people ask me what size of barrel diameter it will take? I seem to remember hearing somewhere factory rem heavy barrels are .820 inches, is this correct? With that bieng said, that would be the largest the stock would accept? I have had a few ask now and I just want to be sure I am not selling someone a stock they cannot use.

I just measured my 700P .308 barrel for you. Its .830. I think if you went any bigger, the barrel would not be free-floating, you would have to do some inletting.
