700 Police DM

Looking for a new .308. Does Remington still make these? I can't find them anywhere.

I really want to find a 'tactical' .308 with a detachable mag to replace my Tikka T3. Nothing against the T3, it shoots amazingly well, I just love the looks of the 700 Police (very simple looking, but elegant and utilitarian). I couldn't find it then, and I can't find it now... Any advice?

i have read on this board somewhere that you cant get the detach mags any more. Wether that is true or not i have no idea. You could get the rifle you want, and install a mag kit, or send it to ATR to have them install their own in-house built kit. I think i am going this route at some point.
