700 Remington Muzzle loader Owners Help needed !!

I have a 700 ml that is converted to use a 209 primer,I am interested in using a vari flame adapter nipple which uses small rifle primers.______Question is, is the bolt spring which was changed with the conversion to 209 primers compatible with the vari flame???

Question 2 will the vari flame screw into original breech plug??

I have read a lot of literature but cannot find a definite answer!

Any thoughts or hands on experience helpful!!

I've been meaning to do the 209 conversion on mine. It only functions reliably with remington caps. Personally, I don't know why you would want to go to a small rifle primer. Wouldn't it be harder to work with than a 209?
