700 Sps

Hi, l'm looking for a new rifle {Rem 700 SPS}, l would like it to be a bolt action, synthetic, stock, drop out mag. l'm cosidering either 30-06 or 7mmRem, hunting rifle.
Anyone have experience with this rifle, good or bad.
l also like the T3 Lite, is it worth the extra $.
Any other sugestions, considering what l am looking for in a rifle.

I have both rifles.... an SPS in 22-250 and a T-3 S/S in .270 WSM. In my opinion the Tikka is much smoother and nicer finished. Some guys don't like the amount of synthetics on the T-3, including the bolt shroud, trigger guard, and magazine.

The 700 is less expensive, but still perfectly functional. It has a nice recoil pad compared to the Tikka. And it's a lot easier to adjust the trigger on the Tikka, which is a really nice trigger to begin with. I'd spend the extra money, but you could always go with the 700 and spend a bit more for a better scope. My Tikka is the more accurate of the two that I own.
