OK Its a slippery slope I know... I got myself in to a NIB Rem 700P. Great action. stared with a Warne Tactical 20 MOA rail and a SWFA 16x42mm optic on ARMS mid height rings, low Harris bipod and 1903 sling... good to go and managed to sight in with decent results (factor shooter error and coffee).
Ive already sent her off to the gunsmith for a trigger job (2.5llb) and a new custom bolt knob.
Im happy with the results but want lower rings (Burris Tactical rings in the mail) and have been looking at other mods for this rig. The stock that I like is the McMillan A5 although the HS precision that came with the 700P is rather nice. Im also looking at the VBull mag adapter kit (website was down) and wanted to know if its worth glass bedding the OEM stock if I go with the magazine adapter?
Anyone have experience with this?
At this stage its either the new A-5 (if I can get one) or the VBull kit... not both (but never say never I guess)...
