700sps Tactical rifling twist?

What is the barrel rifling twist of the 20” 700 SPS Tactical in .223? Also what bullet weights can be used in the rifle (Lightest? Heaviest?)

if anyone can answer that question about .308 model that would be great too.

The original SPS Tacticals in 223 were 1:12. There was a short run of these made with the loose twist. Current production models are 1:9. If you are buying a used one, be sure to check the twist.

so what does it mean in terms of bullets that can be used?

1:12 would be optimal for bullets up to about 55 grains depending on how long they are and generally the 1:9 is good for 55-70 grainers but it depends more on bullet length.
