I was just holding a $3200 dollar "basic" bolt action rifle in my hands the other day at Wanstall's. So $2500 for something this unique doesn't strike me as that outlandish. Consider too how few there will be since this is obviously a bit of a fringe thing and a labour of love. Hell, some folks think nothing of dropping that much on a nice 1911 and don't bat an eye.
 
If I had the money I would love to get one made up with a 10-12" barrel.

Being designed for a 8-3/8" pistol barrel, a 10" barreled carbine should wring the most out of an already stout chambering.

Definately looks interesting. I had previously made inquiries on a similar product, a model 89 by Horn Armory. Without much success I might add.

Oh, curious though:confused:, why add the space between the h and the ttp??

I've seen pics of this rifle somewhere before definitely a nice looking rifle.

Pretty sure I would not invest that kind of money in a lever rifle though considering I already have a 1895GS in 45-70 and a LSI Puma M92 in 454 Casull.

Would be cool to be able to afford a rifle likethat though.

I'm wondering why it is not available in 460S&W...

love to see more 12 inch barrel bush rifles in any pistol cal.
 
I've spoken to Dave Clay on a couple of occasions and he was saying the mock up of the rifle that they made of aluminum was able to handle full power loads without any sign of stress or failure. From our last conversation, I don't believe he is up and running yet as he was forced to shift locations and is starting from scratch, again.

I do have his lever on a couple of rifles along with his followers and trigger. I know some other companies that customize Marlins use his parts.
