first off, post it in the right forum, then while waiting for a responce package the rifle back up and take it back to WWS and tell them that you wanted a 7-08 not a 308.

A sized 308 case will go in a 7-08 chamber with no bullet seated in it, a loaded 7-08 measures 304+/_ at the neck of a loaded round.

it should be stamped right on the barrel what cal. it is.
