I have not been to any gun shows for a while and have no idea on the Value of a couple of Guns i recently and reluctantly aquired
One is a 71/84 Mauser in what looks to be nice shape all original the tip of the fireing pin is broken and a Swiss Vettereli? the stock is cut down but the rest appears to be original ok condition overall. Can anyone sujest or give an educated guess on the value of either or both of these.I know that there are many variables but all i need is a ball park figure ..

Thanks Gary

Your description of the M71/84 sounds like an uncut, Good condition gun. Firing pins are scarce, but are out there. If it is uncut (without pics, or unless you shared a few measurements, it's impossible for us to verify), you would likely fetch $400-600.

The bubba'd Swiss Vetterli is a $50-100 gun.

Gunparts lists the Mauser. Naturally, they're sold out of firing pins. Contact them anyway. They may have one kicking around and haven't bothered to update their site. Epp's would be another place to call.
Are you sure the Vetterli is Swiss? Or could it be Italian? Either way, Gunparts is listing stocks for the Swiss version. $86.50US though.
