Funny how everyone thinks an 870 PUMP shotgun is the greatest thing since BIGREDD was born, but a PUMP rifle in the same configuation is for trailer inhabitants.

I bet most of these folks shoot a bolt action shotgun.

.

pumps are the the greatest thing since the greeks introduced ### to woman:p

Hey CH Tiger 14, let me know how you like that BPR when you shoot it. I think they chambered these in some magnum cartridges, or was that just the BAR? Do they have any GunRegistry jokes in Mirimichi, or is it just like the pulp mill towns where they say the stink smells like MONEY?

Ha Ha -- funny stuff

I haven't heard any jokes about the registry -- except for the initial promise of all the good it was gonna do for a mere $2 million (give or take a billion or 2)

And your reference to pulp mills also hits home -- except the shut down our pulp mill last year and are dismantling it as I type.

As for the chamberings offered in the BPR / BAR, I honestly don't know what is available. But as soon as I try out the BPR for the 1st time, I'll give a little report -- snow should be gone in a few weeks then its off to the range

Yeah, fer'sure ... git yurself one o' them jammo-matics.

Set'er up with them peeky-boo see-thru mounts and a big-ass
Hubble-size teleyscopic sights ... some thing at least like the
ol' favrit, yer 3x9-er, or even better still a 5.384 x 18.9 x 55 or so
flattened-out big-end golden ring babies. Should have windshield wipers or rain & snow guards at least, and light up the cross-hairs in the dark option too. Make darn sure ya get yur flip-me-up spring loaded lens cover-up caps, an a good big wide leather cobra sling and four or five spare "clips" too.

Whatever ya do, loader full o' WD 40 or Unico, specially the
trigger group parts ya can't see. ...an' don't bother with no cleanin'
cause the new ones, the ones with the Klingon Foreheads and such
are way better than them dang old ones.

BigRedd had a picchur of one of them babies on this site a while back,
but seems it was a teenager that owned it ... left-handed Remmy
bolt-cranker I think it was.

Can't imagine why all them deer hunters in Pennsylvaney abd Ontariario
would want a pump anyways !

An ya get the '06, sum o' them deer are big buggers !

That's awsome, LOL :)

Heres a question, the new 7600 seem to have more of a matte or satin finish to the metal from what I can see a in the pic from Remingtons site. Or am I wrong?

Didnt they once have blueing on the metal? When did they go to this matte/dull finish?
