760 Carbines

I sold a 7600 18.5” carbine 30/06 at 700 a few months ago. It was in good condition and sold the same day it was posted.

You’ve got a high and a low estimate and my estimate is in the middle. You could get a nice older 760 for $300 or $400 from the hunt camp guys a few years ago but it would be more like $500 to $600 today and the carbine version always gets a bit more. You’d have no problem getting $600 for it if it’s in nice shape.

And the carbine puts out factory 180 grain ammo at about 2500 f/s... very loud when you happen to be beside it... lol

Yes the .35 is the rare one, I’m not at home to check but like only 227 made if I remember. I have 2x .280, a.270 5diamond, .308 and 30-06 in Carbines, but have never seen a .35C ever.
I’ve often considered making my own that would be marked ‘Custom Carbine’ not trying to fraud, just satisfy my desire.

The 5 diamond was a different style of checkering that Remington used.
I forget the # of .270 Carbines with it but something like 437 were 5D.
Here’s the 280’s on top and the 270 on the bottom. My .257R is also a 5D.
