760 Remington plastic stocks

Definitely, but I don't know where to look. There are a few plastic stocked 760/7600s over on #######.

I've heard that 20ga 870 stocks will fit. Not sure about forends though.

20 gauge Remington 870 stocks will fit. If you need both front and rear - Ram-Line used to make them. I believe they are now Champion. I got a set years back from Western Gun Parts.

The other option is a “Lucy” adapter from Mesa Tactical that will let you use standard 12 gauge Remington 870 stocks. ( I use one of these with a Magpul SGA). Front stock is a little more of a challenge. There is an adapter make in the states that will let you use standard 12 gauge forends.

I've shot a Garand with a Ram-Line stock. It was surprisingly easy on the shoulder. For a while I remember seeing replacement stocks for No.4s too. If you let your fingers do the walking, you might find something for your Remington gas auto. Don't just ask for 7600, the Remington family is quite broad.

Have you tried contacting a gunsmith? I'm sure they could get you a set of remington synthetic stocks at a fair price

I seen a set for sale a few weeks back and they were for Post-1981 760’s. Is there a difference between Pre-81 and Post-81 stock fitment?

Not for the rear stock. All the same. And generally the forends are all the same, EXCEPT for some of the early ones that had a non-telescoping forearm tube. (It actually went all the way through the forend, and protruded out the front)

I got a set of plastic stocks for a 760 last fall from Saskatoon Gun Shoppe. They were branded Remington, but felt like Ram-Line to me.
