This is just out of interest. Quite some time ago I had a little bit of work done on the triggers of my 7600's. I found the triggers in their original form comparable to my 870s and did not like them too much. Now one breakss at 2 3/4 lb and the other a tad over 3 lb. And there is definately less creep. They are not light but I am generally quite happy with them and the triggers feel like they fit their purpose.

I am just wondering how others find their triggers. Are you happy how they are in standard form or do most people get them worked over some?

warrenb,
Mine has a lot of creep..
I'm trying to locate a smith that can take some of the creep and roughness out..
Who did your trigger?
Do you have to send the whole rifle in, or just the trigger group?
Thx..

nrut: I had Guntech on this site work on my 7600 trigger and I recommend him to you. I simply punched out the trigger group and mailed it to him. Service time, price, results all were good and reinstallation by myself easy. Many 760/7600's are pretty good shooters, with a little trigger work they can be even better. Money well spent!

Thanks hiredgun! :)

I had jason at Gunco in Ottawa do mine. The first I took the rifle in and the second I just gave the trigger.
Back then I did contact Dennis (Guntech) based on recommendations. But I believe he said he needed the action so I did not go that route.

Thanks Warren..
With the price of shipping these days it will pay to find someone who just needs the trigger group..
I'll keep Gunco in mind if Guntech can't do it..
