This is the route I went because I wanted a short 7600 in .308 Win.

The added cost is cutting the barrel, reinstalling the front sight and in my case threading the end if the barrel and drilling iut a flash hider.

870, 7600, etc style triggers are quite easily modified to be crisp and light... I did lots of them when I was working. There is alway a slight amount of take up due to the design though.

I've debated selling my 760 carbine .30-06 with 20" barrel. It's strictly vintage as you can see. Like a vintage canoe paddle in a cottage that smells of old men, like me. (Okay, maybe it doesn't smell as bad as me.) Bushbuck not included. Or at least pending... There is no better woods rifle for tracking than these old Remington pumps.
