That 7615 with the short barrel and that stock/grip combo is nice...
ugh, frigging canada post...mine should be here this week. cant wait.
if anyone knows where i can pick up a solid ghost ring rear sight for a 7615/7600/20 ga 870, in canada, id appreciate the info. i had the factory open sights on the barrel, but im going to add the receiver sight once i track one down.
you mind posting some up close pics of the barrel/barrel extension/ and where it all meets up to the receiver. i think im picking up what your putting down, but pics will help.
im confused by this rifle. the op states that he made it to be a trunk gun. the op also states the barrel is 12 inches long and custom made by dlask. op also states the rifle is non restricted. if the barrel is under 18.5 inches like the op states it is, wouldnt that make this rifle a restricted and not capable of being a trunk gun? is he wrong or am i confused here? to many freaking rules to know and memorize......
Negative. A manual action (like a bolt gun or pump shotgun) is only governed by the overall length, which I believe has to be greater than 26". Semi auto's have a minimum barrel length of 18.5", and barrels can only be cut to 18" - if shorter the barrel has to be manufactured to that length (hence the Dlask barrel here).

1) What fore-end mods did you have to do to fit the rail? I was wondering if it was solid enough to mount a fail for hand stops or an AFG so that there would be more positive grip while working the pump.
there are no aftermarket rails that i found. i made my own using tubing and rails. an long vertical grip applies too much torque to the rails. easy to bend the crap out of it. an AFG is a better idea but you still have to be careful. the rails are from a 20ga and seem way softer than any of my 12ga guns.
