762mmfirearms M14-06

That is fricken cool.
I've heard about this project a while back during a phone call with the guys at 7.62 . Cool to see it come to fruition. Wonder if they have it export liscenced?
I would absolutely jump through the hoops to get one of these :D

Somewhere in M14/M1Garand heaven , Mr Browning is smiling I'm sure. And the evolution of this platform continues

Interesting, but what does it really give us that an accurized M14 doesn't? Isn't a specialized gun like this kind of the opposite of an all-round battle rifle? It doesn't quite compute to me.

Not that I'd turn one down as a gift....

Sorry to burst your buble guyz but a nork with a Pro-Mag stock will get you this rig for half the cost and the same results.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I thought it WAS a promag stock when I first saw the pic.

Companies like this give me hope, because it shows that even in the face of rifles like the 7.62 ARs, the M14 just refuses to die...

Now, if someone would do the same for the SAFN 49, I would be in heaven...

It is a promag stock , I have one and its identical ..you can see the archangel logo on it and the article even said it comes with the promag stock .

The coolness factor isn't so much in the stock which we can easily get, but in the fact that it's chambered in 30-06 and has an integral scope rail. Thomas, I'm also curious about how big a pill she can throw. I figure with a piston like the grooved Sadlak NM, she should be able to throw pretty much anything out there.

I'm curious if 762mm will now also start making an M14 receiver with the integral rail like LRB's M25, competition is always good!

the 7.62x51 replaced the 30-06 with around a 250fps drop. if you love the 06 its good news but if your like me and have no use for an 06 it does seem a step backwards. Now a m14 scaled down to fit the 7.62x39(not like the mini but a true scaled down m14) then I'd get excited.
