772 x54r too expensive????

The price has gone up like 100, almost not even worth buying the surplus anymore... anyone else agree?

Yes - x54 went from 25.5c just after Christmas to 50c (pre-tax).

x39 will do the same. It was 15c not long ago. I expect we will see 1400 round crates above $400 within days/weeks.

Commercial ammo of similar power is $1 per round and more.
Surplus ammo of similar power is at least $0.50 and often around $0.75

So, as long as x54R is below 50 cents (currently 35-40), it well worth it. At the end, the rifles are not expensive too.

Ive been saving brass for a while now, when I run out of the corrosive stuff I'll start reloading.

Yeah, its really the new shooters and the guys who only buy a crate at a time that are really feeling this surplus surge right now.
When WSS had crates for $225 last year, I stocked up.
When Canadammo had crates for $200 or whatever, I bought even more. I also bought remaining loose ammo privately from guys who got out of the calibre.
