783 mag work

If i were to rebarrel a 3006 rem783 to 35 whelen would the mag need any work? Im thinking not but want to make sure as i dont have one to look at

I recently rebarreled a 783 to 338-06 Ackley Imp and it feeds slicker than snot from the original magazine with no alterations

Buddy hasnt showed up with the cash yet and i just bought 2 beretta shotguns and drastically upscaled the plans for the deck im going to build in the back yard so this project may have to wait a bit
But its looking like a simpke barrel swap is all thats needed. Thanks
