788 magazine

Have a magazine for Mod 788 Rem in 22-250. The spring in the magazine seems soft and doesnt always push the shells up. Can I replace that and if so how much might that be ?

I have had quite a few of the 788 mags in various conditions and lengths. All the springs seem soft. Try removing the follower and stretch the spring a bit. Might fix it up.
