795 sear~anybody tried to improve it?

The 795 trigger tutorials online, and on a the big US "Rimfire" website illustrate how to tweak the sear for a smoother trigger pull. Has anyone here ever tried it? Results? Since I have so little faith in the possibility of getting a replacement if I mess it up...I was wondering what experience people here have with it.

Any tips/photos/description welcome.
