Hey Guys,

Wondering if anyone has tried the nosler LR accubonds out of their 7-08's? I like the high BC and retained energy that is possible with the high BC bullets. I am concerned a bit that they might be too long and take up too much case capacity to make them a viable option in a 7-08. If I see a box I might try them out to see. I shoot the 140gr accubonds and really like them out of the 7-08.

Never tried 150 AB(only 140) but currently use 150 SMK and SC II's.

No issues with capacity , using H4350 and W760 , both below max.

Actually very nice performance with 150grainers in 7-08.

I'll let you know when mine aren't on BackOrder! In the mean time I'll just be burning up some cheaper bullets. I'll be trying them over RL-19. The Nosler Data is with a 2.8" COAL and they're getting decent amounts of powder in the case at that length so I don't think it'll be too bad. I just wonder how much velocity loss there'll be from their 26"bbl data to my 22"bbl.

Whoever gets them first has to post a nice detailed range report...and please let it be someone who uses a Chrony. I'm scared to guess at velocity since chronying Hornady Light Mag ammo out of my 22" 7-08. 20 rounds the Advertised velocity was 3000fps from a 24" bbl. Slowest of 20 rds was 2690fps and the fastest 2830fps with most around 2780. Always accurate though outta my rifle. But 250-300fps velocity loss for 2" of bbl stinks. What were we talking about? Oh yeah bullet makers inflating their velocity results.

Anyway when I finally do get my 150ABLR's and shoot them outta my 7-08 I'll put up a nice post.

Just so everyone is aware, very few Canadian dealers received the Accubond Long Range bullets, so the quickest way to get them, is to search out those dealers. If you sit around waiting for them to appear at your local dealer, you might be waiting a long time.

I will post and yes I use a chrony, getting 2815 average with my 140's. I have poked around at a bunch of shops but none yet, still try to support the local small guys though.
