7mm-08 limitations

Go with the 7mm-08. I just got a new Sako A7 in 7mm-08, love it! Got a small framed buddy that started off with his first rifle: 7RM in a BAR, he almost ruined himself with the recoil, and in a BAR it's not that great! Guess what, he now has a BBR in 7mm-08, he loves it, no more flinch. He's a good shooter, now. Even got his first Deer last Fall.

If you like the gun and it fits you, get it. If ammunition seems a bit expensive, reloading is not so expensive or difficult to learn to do properly.

(You can get into Lee equipment at a price that can soon be paid back by the savings on ammunition. Many people believe other, more expensive brands are better, and they may be right, and if you have the money, follow them if you like, but you don't need to. If you can afford Lee, you can make ammo that is more than good enough.)
