So, why is a Leupold Rifleman 3-9 x 40mm a POS scope?

Rifleman series of scopes is Leupolds low end model. Not a POS, but not a VXIII, either.

the Rifleman scope, when compared to other scopes in the $300+/- range, isnt as good. I guess 'piece of s.hit' is a bit harsh, but for the price, there are better options (IMO)

Hell, I buy new VXIIs on Ebay for less than $400!

I would think that a 3200 in 3-9 at $249.00 is a far better buy than the Rifleman series. I think I am going to get me a Sako SS laminate in 7-08 now that I know a sissy like me can handle the recoil.FS
