So my 7mm rem mag really only seams to like 175gr bullets.

What are your thoughts on using these on whitetail? Are they going to go right through and out the other side on their way to Scotland? will they turn my deer into hamburger for me?

Will be hunting under 150yds, more then likely in the 75yd area.

just go with convential softpoints, no premium stuff. how bad are your groups that you might miss at 75 yards?

My father shoots a 7RM with Super X 175 SP's for deer, moose and elk. They will pass through a deer and they do expand causing a fast kill without significant damage to the meat. Do your part and the round will take care of the rest.

Use the Partition...it WILL expand on a deer at 7mm Mag velocities.
Regards, Dave.

This. I had a bad experience with C&C bullets in my 7RM. Switched to Partitions and experienced picture perfect performance, even on WT does broadside.

i shot two blackies with win 175 power point factory ammo. one at apox 100 yrs one closer to 25. both quick kills and i recovered the bullets under the hide on the far side. not a lot of ruined meat. i was quite impressed. neither recovered bullet looked great but both bears dead.
