Hi guys. I am new to reloading and upon a recent purchase of some .308 brass I found a bunch of brass in my purchase that I need help identifying.
Most of it has a Lake City headstamp in the late '60s erea. Very few have REM-UMC 7mm headstamp. I think it might be 7x57 Mauser brass but I want to check with you guys. Here is some measurements:
overall length: 2.220" - 2.240"
rim width: .470"
length base to neck down point: 1.725"
neck outside width: .310"
I have no firearm even close to someting like this so I would like to find out what the brass is for and sell it cheap to somebody that might have a use for it.
