7mm PRC is SAAMI approved.

I was just talking to my dad. He hunted exclusively with a Remington 700 ADL in 7mm Remington Magnum for over 30 years. When he bought it all his buddies told him it was a bad choice. No ammo on every gas stations shelves, no brass, too new, too fast, blah blah blah. He hand loaded (how many guys were hand loading in the 60’s?) and knew it wouldn’t be a problem. It wasn’t.

I have to try using my Android cell phone for photographs, to compare the difference between it and my digital camera. I'm very old school when it comes to mobile cellular telephones, I only use it remotely during the year, and 99% of the time the phone is in a kitchen cupboard.

Hardly a secret when they sent it to be SAAMIed in June, if the other two PRC cartridges are any indication of how the 7 PRC will do most companies should jump on it, Fierce had a rifle chambered in it already, not sure if it was offered on the retail side of things.
I’m sure it will be very popular, looks like a sensible cartridge for hunting and long range shooting, enough power to be effective but sensible on the recoil end of things.

Well again with high BC bullets and the wonderful world of turrets on scopes you don’t have to stress these cartridges to the max for velocity, it’s simply another click or two on the elevation dial and your in business !

You have to lose that velocity first mentality old timer ;)
