I’m loading the Barnes 168 LRX over top of RL 26 for 3150 plus avg FPS with NO pressure problems at All I might try to get to 3200 and just see what it takes .

I’m surprised it’s not 168 too. I’m at 3130 fps with 168 LRX and H1000 also with no pressure. I might drop down to 3075 though. SD/ES are better thereHmm

I just went to the Barnes site and we better get us some of them dare 160 LRX missles 
G1 is .608 as compared to .523 to the .513 of 168 gr 
will get a EASY 3200 fps out of them and fly even flatter .

Interesting. Will have to give those a try sometime. I’m using ADG brass and CCI250. It hasn’t been grouping well lately so need to do a bit of troubleshooting or more experimenting I thinkI just went to the Barnes site and we better get us some of them dare 160 LRX missles

Make sure she’s Clean Git rid of the carbon before it builds up and gets layered in with copper . JMO RJ

Pick me Jim, 67gr H1000 behind a 175gr ELDX averages 2988 fps ES 8.7 SD 3.8 and a 3 shot groups .270" works great I also have a load with 64gr H4831 behind a 175gr ELDX 2984 fps ES 9.6 SD 4.0 and a 3 shot group .293" both loads in Hornady brass with federal 215 primers shot out of a Christensen arms mesa long range rifle, Nightforce NX8 2.5 - 20 x 50mm scope. No need for me to even look for RL26 as it is ferry dust as is all alliant powder these day's and going forward for some time I suspect. Waldo I loaded up some 180 ELDX in new ADG brass with F215 sparkers at 3.325 COAL .
We will see what they do with the H1000 powder

Barnes also is making a 7 mm LRX weighting in at 152 grs . But ONLY available in loaded 280 AI ammo ! RJ
The 160 LRX is only loaded in 7 mm PRC ammo BUT

theres a real good podcast from Barnes on a Hornady podcast about the reasons they made the 160g for the 7 prc , he explains the BC numbers and case capacity the 160 in copper seams to be the perfect size for it . the 168g are more for the 28 nosler . they do talk powder but of coarse top secret in what they settled on , at 3050 fps I would guess H1000 or even retumbo I would think .. its such a nice design I am debating rechambering my fierce 28 nosler to 7 prc .. if you get any Datta RJ on them 160 please be sure to share
I had a 28 Nosler and i have a 7 STW and a 7-300 WBee and there ALL too OVERBORE . The 7 PRC is a Real Nice balance . JMO RJ
