I'll be starting up a load for 7mm rem mag soon and would like to hear what powder you guys prefer for that caliber. I plan to shoot 160 grn nosler accubonds. Hopfully you guys have a few favorites that I happen to have in the cupboard.

The Nosler manual lists N165 as the most accurate powder for both the 140 and 160 gr Accubonds. I've had great success with N165 and the 140 gr Accubond with my 7mmRM, have not tried the 160 Gr tho....

According to Hornady book

If you want to shoot 160 grainers

for top velocity and minimal powder, best options is

IMR 4831, 60.6gr
WLRM primer
in 1 in 9'' twist rem 700 rifle

Always make sure you start below max load and work up. This is max load from hornady book. Im not saying this is safe for your rifle. When reloading, dont trust anyone...

So far I've gotten best results with H1000 vs. H4831. Still have one lb of IMR4831 to try, but after using H1000 I may try to sell it or trade it. Still want to give Retumbo a whirl as well.
