7mm rem mag reloads

looking for some info with 168gn berger vld and imr 4831 powder, I got 2700 fps with 63 gn in fp cases, husky 8000 rifle. any info appreciated

You should be getting better velocity.

With fed. Cases wlr primers and 160 noslers I get just over 3000 fps with 62 grains imr 4831. With the same load and 150's I get 3080 fps.

Depending onbrl length thatsounds about right in line with a 24 inch. Mine got 2650 with federal 175 factory load. Mine migjt be a slow brl

primers don't show any presure signs, I would like to get 2900 to3000 fps didn't make difference from61.5 to 63 gn (50fps)

Had great results with 168 gr bullets in 7mm Rem Mag using Retumbo.
