I'm helping a friend to start up reloading and need some experience info. I myself am pretty far in reloading but I simply do different calibers than 7mm Remington magnum so my Q's are: Which case brand should we stick to and which to avoid, as we want to stick to a single manufacturer as usual with most reloading. Then, which primers are more preferable and last, what bullet weight is inherently most stable & accurate. The rifle is Browning A-Bolt with 24" barrel but not sure about twist rate. My friend wants to use 180 gr. Berger VLD bullet but I was hoping to get some more info here before we actually go ahead with reloading. Thanks for any information.

I like Remington and Winchester brass. CCI250 and Fed215 primers. For mono metal bullets I like the 139gr gmx and 140gr ttsx. Check your twist before you buy the 180 bergers as they require a 9" twist and I'm pretty sure abolts have 9.5". 168 berger is no slouch and works in 10" twist and faster.
