Hello guys I did some reloading the other day for my 7mm rem mag, I am using Nosler 160gr Accubonds my Nosler book say's 3.29 for the oal now I went a tad longer at 3.30 is that going to work alright? I have not chambered one yet to see?

Thanks

I would check to see how deep they seat into the lands by following this method.
Using a fired round, crimp the neck a little either by pinching the neck or neck sizing about a tenth of an inch. Start one of your 160's into the neck, and then chamber that round so the bullet seats to the lands. Now check the OAL.
This is the method I use, and then leave that round in the bullet box as a future check.
If you have any doubts as to the accuracy of this methond, make up three dummy rounds and then use the shortest measurement. Seat your loaded rounds at least 10 to 20 thou deeper.
My .280 Remington has to be seated deeper than the OAL listed in the books.

First thing I do when loading new bullets is to load a dummy round also, maybe 5 thou under magazine length (assuming you have a mag and it's not a single shot), then carefully chamber the round. If there is no resistance and the OAL doesn't change from hitting the lands, it gives you a point to work backwards from to find the sweet spot. Was also taught to make sure there is at least a bullets diameter of length inside the case.
I use the 160 AB in my 7mm as well, and my OAL is 3.425.
