7mm rifle

rugger Winchester remington sako you name it all the big names will have a rifle chambered in this call ,,,,all depends what fits you and what you like ,,me I have a thing for ruggers and remintons ...Dutch
 
Remington Mod 7 make several sweet models and the Win Featherweight is another I like.

As much as I like 700s and have one in 7/08, I'd like to try out an XBolt in the same chambering.

Although I am a big fan of the Browning Citori shotguns, and I own several, I am not a fan of the Browning A-Bolt or X-Bolt. Those full stock Remingtons are good looking rifles.

The original purpose of the Mannlicher forend was to make them more useful as walking sticks for mountain hunters. It was also probably influenced by full length military stocks that made them better for use as clubs and improvised spears.

The long forend would also improve the rifles utility as a canoe paddle, if things got that bad.
