Driving 140 grain bullets with max loads of RL-25 at 3570 fps, how many round do you expect the barrel to take, keeping in mined not heating it up and regular cleaning was taking place.

I would suspect about the same as a STW gets, not many rounds. My own 7STW got less than 1000 before it started to have the groups open up. Given the similar case capacity and velocity I can't see that there would be a great deal of difference. If I were to do another STW I would DEFINITELY be using "Gun Juice" in the bore to get more life out of it.

Yes Microlon Gun Juice Great product for getting ALOT more life and velocity out of a rifle barrel. I started using the product 4 years ago, I started using it on a brand new stainless barrel I had just fit to my F class 300 win mag, I have over 5400 rnds out of the barrel and it is still as tight shooting as the day I started. I used to get about 2500 to 3000 rnds before the groups would open up from throat erosion. I was skeptical about their claims of increased velocity but gained 154 FPS from pre treatment to fully treated barrel. For a 240 gr bullet that is a huge increase in velocity. My muzzle velocity on this rifle using 240 MKs is 3086 to 3095 depending on the day. Not bad for a 300 win mag.
I now include a bottle with all my custom rifles

Do you think it would preclude the need for coated bullets... or do you think that moly bullets would work well with a microlon treated barrel.
The reason I ask this is obvious... I moly coat my bullets for all my new barrels. There is a lot of speculation that the secret formula used in microlon contains molybednum.
