What is everyone reloading for bullets in there 7mm Rum? I have H1000, IMR 7828 and Retumbo powders. I have 160gr Nosler Accubonds bullets which are a great bullet and Seem like these shoot well in everything I have ever loaded for but am tempted by the Berger bullets in a 168 or 180gr. Does it take a lot of tuning to get bergers to shoot well in most rifles?

Only shooting will tell you. I tried shooting the 168's last month, and they did very well.

Average group was around 1-1.5" at 200yards. My Velocities were retarded, so I had to back down! I ended up with 90.0gr of H869. I am shooting a 27.284" barrel.

This is a barrel that I made with the help of my friend Bevan King.

I find that I have to use loads that are lower than listed "starting loads", to get over max velocities! Hmmmm, kind of a pain in the butt! I need to be careful when loading this rifle!

The 180's should be good, but what do you need them for?

My 168's require only 19.4 MOA of adjustment at 1000 yards! Yikes! Thats flat!
But I will pay with barrel life. As they say, "THERES NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH"!
