I had two 7mm STW's back in '93, I used a lot of IMR 7828.

160 Partition, chased by somewhere between 87 and 90 grains of H5010 [or a bit less of Retumbo.] RL 25 works OK in most as well. Eagleye.

Both of my rifles preferred 80gr or imr7828 behind a 140gr bullet.My favorite big game bullet was the barnes mrx followed by the accubond.

In 4 rifles the favorite powder changed everytime. In the order I used them, and used them up the powders were H1000, WMR, Retumbo, and currently H4831.

I use a 160 gr. TSX with 93 gr. H-870. Rem 700 BDL SS DM

I get the best velocity/accuracy with RL25 behind 160 gr bullets in mine Rick. Good LR cartridge, by the way. - dan

Mine have always liked 7828 with 160s.
