7mm stw ???

The STW is very much over rated... those big cartridges really benefit from hot loads in 28 inch barrels. The original data that made the 7mm STW look so good was worked up that way... and the majority of those who rechambered their 24 and 26 inch 7mm Rem Mags were very disappointed in the velocities they were able to get.

If you are building a 24 or 26 inch 7mm Magnum stick with the 7mm Remington Magnum or the 7mm Weatherby Magnum.

Absolutely correct. I bought that SPS already chambered in 7STW, so no additional expense on my part.
To get a little bit more velocity than the 7 RemMag, you have to burn a whole lot more powder. Same goes for the 7RUM, though it's perhaps a bit more efficient than the STW.

After owning three 7mmstw rifles, and one 7mmRUM rifle,I find the 7mmstw more efficient than the 7MMRUM. I like the 7mmstw so much, that I have a Cooper 56 in 7mmstw on order.
 
Remington turned out some sps rifles chambered for the 7mmSTW, .257 Weatherby and 6mm Rem. I have only seen one in Canada but i see them on the shelf in Montana gun shops often.

You could try Gunbroker, it's not tough to get one exported / imported.
