I have a 7mm-tcu and I would like to open it up to 7mm-08 or something? Is this possible and is there someone out there that can do this for me?

What firearm is it chambered in? TC Contender? if so, not a good solution.

If XP 100--have to get bolt face modified or another bolt fitted.

Not sure what the current costs of a re-chambering are.

My guess is for a TC contender you could buy a barrel in the caliber you want for close to the price of converting it, plus you could sell the 7mm tcu barrel and come out way ahead of rechambering. just my .02

T-Roy the 7-57 is almost the same as the 7-08. Still not a good idea on a contender frame. If you are looking for a cartridge that you can purchase factory ammo for, the 7-30 Waters is the way to go. I have that cartridge chambered in a rifle barrel for my TC. It works real good on deer and black bear. Total cost was just over $600.00 for the barrel, wood stock set, scope and mounts. It is a light weight and will still shoot a quarter at 100m.
