7mm Weatherby-7wsm

Hey guys
Can a 7mm Weatherby bbl be cut back and re-chambered for
a 7wsm?
also can a Rem 700 bbl be rethreaded to work with a Savage?

The real question is, is there enough material to cut off the threaded portion of the Rem barrel and cut threads for a shouldered Savage while still having enough meat to re-chamber for the wsm. Probably.

The Weatherby barrel may not have enough contour left to do what you suggest.

700 barrels can easily be fitted to Savages..... Savage is considerably smaller

I thought the Rem was 1.062" X 16 tpi?
