7mm Weatherby Mag

Looking at buying a 7mm Weatherby Mag.
Barrel is listed as 24", but the weatherby catalogue lists the 7mm as having a 26" barrel.
Has the 7 WM mag ever been avaialble with a factory 24"? Or has this barrel been cut?
How much velocity am I likely to loose?

If it is a Mark5, for many years 24" was standard and a fairly light contour, the 26" was of slightly heavier contour and cost an additional $20, Wea. called it contours 1 and 2. The .378 got contour #3 and the .460 contour #4. All this may have changed when production moved back to the USA.

Thanks Ben. I was glad to see that it was a stock barrel and not cut.
When I saw the condition earlier today, I couldn't get the money out of pocket quick enough.
24" or 26" it's still a nice piece.
