I shoot a 7WSM and love it. The rifle is a PGWDTI with a 26" barrel and with 180gr Berger VLDs I am getting 3140fps. Yes, this is a hot load but I always shoot my most accurate load opposed to highest velocity, this load happens to be both! I have found in most of my rifles I usually find 2 accuracy nodes and the slower one is usually the more accurate but this rifle is the opposite.
I tested 168 gr Bergers and they shot very well but not quite as good as the 180s. I couldn't get the 162 Amaxs to shoot better than 1 moa(which seem to work well for most 7WSMs) but the 150 gr Swift Siroccos shot pretty good although I haven't tested them past 300m.
While my barrel may not last that long, I'll have a damn good time burning it up!
