Hello: A good Albertan customer requires a full length small base die. Any leads or ideas?

Peter I wonder what shell holder and dies he is using?
Back when the WSM's first came out, many of us were having issues with the Lee shellholders and found we had to grind a few thous. off them to get the cartridges resized.

Taking a bit off the bottom of a resizing die has cured the WSM problems for me in more than one Rifle and several different calibers.

It was/is a pretty common problem!

I think Redding made body dies for this cartridge, but shaving the shell holder works and is a very great deal cheaper. - dan

Thanks, the cartridge case is too wide near the base.

Redding shell holder set will help I think, but I would just take a Lee shell holder and polish it with emery cloth on a glass plate until they sized down to fit in the rifle.
That is what we ended up dong for the most part when shortmags.org was on the go....
