Id trade the savage for components and shoot the other two, having 3 7mags can't suck that bad.
And the 300 WSM will do the same to the 7mm WSM...........![]()
No, it's a very fine hair.
I've never cared for any of the WSM's or short fatties, they feed like crap, don't fit into the elastic buttstock holders, won't fit older powder funnels or normal plastic ammo containers and cut mag capacity. If I want to shave 8 ounces of weight, I'll take a dump before heading out.
I'll take a Cindy Crawford over Rosie O'Donnell anyday.![]()
Thats the kind of info I'm looking for.
You really think we'll run out of .284 cal bullets and .300 brass ???If you're buying a new rifle, and you like the 7mm wsm ballistics, get the .270wsm!
It's a calibre that's going to stay, and as they're selling well, ammo will become even
more widely available as time goes on, even though it's not bad even now.
The .270wsm is the .270 of the new millenium, and as has been mentioned it's killed
the 7mm wsm in the marketplace. The 7mm wsm will probably be dead within a few years, and you'll have all sorts of fun trying to find ammo for it.
Proper head stamped brass and factory ammo mean nothing to me. If there is 300/270wsm brass then there will always be 7wsm brass.
And 300/ 7mm Saum brass as well. One pass thru the sizeing die, trim, chamfer and your GTG.![]()
Youz guyz is nutz.
.270 WCF is where its at.![]()
But then you don't get to tell your friends you shoot a "wizzum".![]()
