7mm08 and 120gr ttsx range day #2

i loaded up some 4 shot groups all with 45.5gr varget and 120gr ttsx. this time i played with seating depths

my coal is using the hornady comparator kit

4 shots @ 2.258" 45 thou off
4 shots @ 2.248" 55 thou off
4 shots @ 2.238" 65 thou off
4 shots at 2.228" 75 thou off

the gun likes 55-65 thou off the lands. 75 thou they open up and 45 thou they open up

Would you be happy with this or would u fine tune it a bit

Well Barnes used to tell you to set their bullets up at 0.050" off the lands, maybe they knew something after all. - dan
