So fellas i used up all my RE25, scarcer an expensive down here at the moment, it was just around at the time when most all else was low... go figure.
anywho ive got AR2217------
my question is, for example currently the gun likes 69.5gr of RE25..............
these two powders are 'similiar in equivilants' but certainly not the same- i get that-
is it likely though, that this other powder charge will likely work out to being the same 'velocity' .... hmm how can i explain.
will 69.5gr RE25 accurate load in my gun more than likely work out to be 69-70gr of the new powder AR2217?
from my calculations both load datas are similiar and i got alot of good info from cgn an NZ forum on the 7mm in general, ar2213sc, 2217 and re26 particularly....
census was 2213sc too quick for 162s, 2217 and re25 was similiar, 2217 might even be retumbo (or that might of been 2225) and RE 26 was the bees knees....
because we were aiming for 3000fps or so.
what say you- if nothing more than conversation.
i will of course load low and work up.
