I'm just curious if you fellas know which companies are currently chambering bolt rifles in 7WSM, and what models they're offering.

Not 100% sure, but I think 3 that still do are:
-Browning X-Bolt
-Sako 85
-Tikka T3


I think you're going to have to go for a 270 WSM. Choices are 10:1 in availability of manufacturers.
I don't even see Winchester offering it in their new M70.

EDIT: Looks like Sako & Tikka dropped it as well. That leaves Browning.

Pretty sure you can still get it from Browning in the X-bolt, and probably the A-bolt as well. I don't know if Savage is still doing them or not, but if used is ok keep a watch on the exchange they come up fairly regularly.

For the weight, I'm going to have a long look at the T3. No WSM, but regular 7 Rem Mag. Even with some barrel fluting and a new stock, it should weigh about the same as the Montucky, and cost less.

Winchester brought back the 7mm WSM for 2011. Looks like the the Model 70 Extreme Weather SS is available in 7mm WSM.

Winchester will chamber the Coyote Lite,the EW and one other model in 7WSM.A fine cartridge and like all modern short mags,NOT BELTED! They headspace off the shoulder. Mur

I may have misunderstood the OP. I think he was looking for an "off the shelf" factory chambered 7mm WSM.
