Hello gentleman.
Today i received in the mail my new to me Brno 21H in 7x57,
i intend to reload using Nosler partitions or accubonds in 160grs.
By any chance any of you reload this cartridge using 160grs, if you do which powder works best for you.
Thanks...Happy new year everybody...

Sorry. I reload everything else, but when I bought my 7x57 earlier this year, it turned out that plain old Federal blue box was a tack-driver. Couldn't possibly better that, so I didn't even try.

Good luck with a fine rifle in a fine round!

I have the same rifle 21H and it shoots 1/2" or tighter 3 shot groups with 46gr IMR 4350 and a 160gr.One ragged hole with 50gr of RE22 and the same bullet 160gr Speer Grand Slam. For lighter weight 48gr of Win 760 and a 140gr bullet all in the same hole.......Harold....Win brass + Fed mag primers

Hi Victor. I recently worked up a load for my Ruger 7x57. I've been playing with W760 lately, and **grns (max load in my Speer manual #13) shoots nicely. Sub m.o.a. for 3 shot groups with 160 grn Accubonds. I don't have a chrony. My C.O.A.L. is 3.33", which is pretty long. I shoot 120 grn sierras in the same rifle, 3" C.O.A.L. is accurate, but the 160s needed to be seated closer to the lands in my rifle. Have fun!

Congratulations on getting one of the finest 7X57 rifles ever made, Victor.

Any of the 4350s, Re 17 and 19, and both the 4831 powders will all give your good velocity and excellent accuracy with bullets from 140 to 175 grains. I like the Nosler partitions and the Matrix bonded core bullets for hunting. Either one will do you well in 160 grain loads on any game we hunt in North America.

Now, just find one in 9.3X62, and you will be set for any game in the world. :)

Ted

Thanks everybody for your kind replies, and yes i will try 3 or 4 different powders as i have pretty much all the powders you guys mentioned.
Ted rest assured if i find one in 9.3x62 i will buy it , although i have that caliber on a CZ 550 FS .
Thanks everybody..enjoy the new year..
