I have been trying Sierra 140 gr flat base, Norma Brass, CCI 200 primers and RL 19 powder with the bullets set out relatively far as the mag well and the lands handle it.

In my BRNO 600 with 23.5 inch bbl I am getting 2820 ft/s with moa with 57 gr RL19 with no pressure signs at all. I do get a little better groups at around 2600 ft/s but I am still working with it along with the front pressure screw on the BRNO.

I am going to try a couple of more increments of .5 gr to see if I can get to 3000 ft/s with accuracy and no pressure signs. I feel that should be possible as the Norma factory gets above that -- with what powder, I dont know.

Any other inputs would be appreciated. I like the RL powders, but maybe a different brand / speed is better.

I scanned the data from Pet Loads. Perhaps you'll find Ken Water's observations useful.

thank you for that Boomer -- I see that I may be near the limits allready... even tho i see no hi case expansion measurements yet...

Ok - back from the range - I have been trying Sierra 140 gr flat base, Norma Brass, CCI 250 primers and RL 19 powder with the bullets set out relatively far as the mag well and the lands handle it.

In my BRNO 600 with 23.5 inch bbl I get 2920 ft/s with very sub moa with 58.5 gr RL19 with no pressure signs at all and good standard deviations. I like it - i will stop there. a good accurate and safe round in my rifle.

Thanks to Oldbadger , Boomer and others who helped .
