Ive just picked up a old Sako AV in 7x64,
Forgot how heavy the old AV can be, solid rifles, and smooth.
I, am off down town, to go buy a better scope, 3x10x40 CDS I think.
who else is shooting one, what your hunting bullet choice ?
I'm looking for (50)quality brass, lapua, sako or norma if any one know were sum is,

Might try the 154 SST, or interbond as have both on hand.

I use the 154 SP in my Ruger M77 MKII and CZ 550 Lux... 58.0 grains of RL-22 is very good in both rifles. Trade-Ex has Sellier & Bellot ammo with the 173 grain Torpedo bullets @ $34/box and it is accurate stuff and the brass is nicer to load than the Norma brass I have.

I'm using 175gr Speer Deepcurls, Xreload had a few boxes left and I found they shoot great in the fast twist 7x64.
Brass I'm just using Remington prepped and sized 280Rem. Xreload probably has Norma/Lapua brass in 7x64 if you are picky. Hornady makes it as well.
