I think that you would have to pin the collapsible stock so that the gun is 26" overall.
I think you mean collapsed, & it should make it without pinning. I have a knoxx on the way for my 8.5 , so ill let you know next week!

the Knoxx SpecOps on an 8.5" Grizzly is just a hair over min OAL...
...but keep in mind that the Knoxx SpecOps collapses in 2 ways: with the adjustable collapsible stock, and also with the recoil absorbing spring mechanism.
it is not outside the realm of possibility that an overzealous cop could push down on the gun while he is measuring to get it below 26". all it takes is a 1/4" below 26" and you are in deep sh*t. it would technically be a 'Firearm that can be reduced to a length of less than 660 mm by folding, telescoping, or otherwise'.
would a cop do this? would you be able to defend it in court? who knows. im not going to find out.

So the Grizzly must be a little shorter somehow than the Dlask? Thats interesting....I can't make my Knoxx collpase far enough to get it down the extra inch or so below 26".
Good to know, but hey, I have 2 Dlasks, so no need for a Grizz in my future.
I know it's not the rear end, but it's as far back as possible on the stock, near the lower corner of the butt plate.

Where did you get the Knoxx stock in Canada? The last one I bough for my Winchester Defender came from R Nichols but I don't see them on their web site anymore. I'm now in the market for another, for an 870 (i.e. my 8.5" Griz) and if I'm going to bother, I want the recoil reducing version.
