It at least needs the bead IMO. Gotta have some indication of where you're pointing.

Same reason I want the gun, because I can and its fun. It works great with slugs too.

It has the bead.
I think the whole point of these guns is to be as simple as possible.
Just a small, handy, snag free gun you can deploy, load, and use quickly.
Perfect for camping, hiking, home defence etc.

As an aside, I see Dlask has their 6.5" barrel on sale for $180.
Not sure if it is compatable though.

Don't think there is any modification on the receiver side...so feeding won't be a problem.

Are these drilled and tapped for a rail on top?

Again, feeding is best with 2 3/4" shells.
I'll be putting a Bushnell TRS-25 on since I only use slugs.
I might have the barrel threaded for chokes for the 475 rounds of 00 buck I have and haven't thouched in years. ..
Also might have to thread it to put a breaching attachment simply to complete the look and use I have in mind for this particular project.

The Dlask 6.5" barrel is neat but would require further modification of the mag tube.

I bought 2 of these this week with 2 spare mags for each, and a sks combo, CANAM is giving my credit card a good work out! These 8.5" mags are just dam cool to look at
